The province of Almeria in the South Eastern part of Spain is now one of the fastest growing areas of the country. Historically an area of great agricultural resources, the emphasis is now on tourism, with the natural parks such as Cabo de Gata and the endless stretches of virgin beaches backed by a clear Mediterranean sea. It has been the favourite choice with Spanish holiday makers for many years.
Its only recently that foreigners are beginning to discover property on the Costa Almeria in Spain. Costa Almeria property in this particular region of Spain and now that heavy investment is on its way in the form of government subsidies to improve infrastructures and sponsor local businesses. We will shortly see a totally new coast for tourism on the Costa Almeria to rival the Costa del Sol.
